The event was held on 12 November at Metsäkartano, where a sensory pathway was created through the forest leading to the peninsula.
The trail was carefully designed to awaken all five senses of nature, and no additional music was used so that participants could fully immerse themselves in the surrounding sounds. It was illuminated with candles and decorated with reflectors, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Along the route, UV animal structures were displayed, NBIs were presented, and personal stories about the meaning of nature were shared.

At specific points, a story of a child experiencing nature was told, which made the trail deeply emotional and touching for many. At the end of the path, participants crafted their own dream catchers, and the event concluded in a warm and joyful spirit with smiles, marshmallows, and hot chocolate. Approximately 30 stakeholders took part in the event. In the closing speech, the regional leader of Northern Savo highlighted the light path and the first personal story from the trail, and later mentioned Metsäkartano’s work again during another event, emphasising the connection between nature and wellbeing.
